To Love-Ru Darkness follows Rito Yuuki, an ordinary youth who becomes entangled with a growing number of alien princesses and powerful girls from across the universe. What begins as an accidental engagement to the runaway princess Lala Satalin Deviluke, quickly expands into a whirlwind of comedic misunderstandings, intergalactic politics, and increasingly complicated romantic entanglements.
At the heart of the series is the energetic and affectionate Lala, along with her calculating younger sister Momo, and Yami (Golden Darkness), a mysterious assassin. To Love-Ru Darkness is known for its chaotic situations, character-driven humor, and the escalating sexual tension between Rito and the ever-growing harem of girls in his life.
