Hidan carries his signature Triple-Bladed Scythe across his shoulder, a weapon attached to a long metal cable that Hidan uses to extend its range and deliberately wound opponents so he can obtain their blood. Once he tastes an opponent's blood and completes the Jashin ritual, Hidan links his body to the victim through his Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood, causing any injuries he inflicts upon himself to be transferred to his target. His immortality allows him to survive decapitation, impalement, and other otherwise fatal injuries, making his own body a weapon in the ritual.
