Raised from childhood as a prodigy, Naoya Zenin developed an arrogant and contemptuous attitude toward anyone he considered weaker than himself, while holding particular admiration for Toji Fushiguro and his overwhelming physical strength. As a Special Grade 1 sorcerer, Naoya inherited the Zen'in Clan's Projection Sorcery, a technique that divides one second into 24 frames and allows him to predetermine and execute a sequence of movements within that second. The technique gives him extraordinary speed while also allowing him to freeze opponents for one second if they fail to follow its 24-frame rule, leaving them open to attack.
