Sesshomaru is an accomplished swordsman and fighter who relies on his extraordinary strength, speed, durability, and combat instincts, as well as his Dokkasō, which allows him to release a highly corrosive poison from his claws. Sesshomaru can also fly, transform into a gigantic dog demon, regenerate severe injuries, and generate a light whip from his fingertips. His primary weapons include Tenseiga, the sword of his father that can resurrect the dead and protect its wielder with a defensive barrier, and Bakusaiga, his own demonic blade whose power causes organic matter struck by it to decompose and prevents powerful demons from regenerating.

Although Sesshomaru begins his journey concerned almost exclusively with power and his own strength, his encounters with Rin gradually reveal a capacity for compassion that he rarely acknowledges. This Luminasta figure depicts Sesshomaru in his signature white fur pelt and flowing robes, gripping his sword as he turns toward an unseen opponent.
